Formed in Napier in 1984 as Electrotech Controls Ltd, the Tech Group is now a range of trade companies based in Hawke’s Bay and Manawatu. Cuthbert Stewart Ltd (CSL) and Electrotech Controls Ltd (HB) have recently become a Technology Solution partner. CSL has strong ties with the Hawke’s Bay area, and testimony to this, Electrotech. A professional relationship has been formed with the Electrotech team, spearheaded by Manager, Paul Reynolds. Through this relationship, the Tech Group became involved with the input and support from CEO, Richie Richards. With the overall support from Tech Group, CSL commenced a technical training programme focusing on all aspects of Ethernet, and Analogue Signal Conditioning, with the support of Weidmuller Australia. The team at CSL and Electrotech are looking forward to working together along this new and exciting path.
The HBMAG is a comprehensive HVAC installation which is progressing well and keeping on track with Gemco’s overall programme.
We have installed the AHU’s onto the existing building’s roof which will enable us to complete all ductwork to the existing building.
The existing building has thrown a few challenges our way in regards to walls and ceilings not being plumb or level but our manufacturing and installation team has taken it all in their stride with fantastic results. We are approx. 65% through our physical installation - with a major part, the Chiller installation, due in the next few weeks.
HVAC, Sheetmetal, Engineering, Plumbing, Gasfitting and Electrical trades of the Tech Group came together to manufacture and install ducts, vents, exhausts, workbays throughout the new Trades Complex workshops at EIT, Napier. The project involved two stages and completion took place in July 2010.
