Formed in Napier in 1984 as Electrotech Controls Ltd, the Tech Group is now a range of trade companies based in Hawke’s Bay and Manawatu. HVAC, Sheetmetal, Engineering, Plumbing, Gasfitting and Electrical trades of the Tech Group came together to manufacture and install ducts, vents, exhausts, workbays throughout the new Trades Complex workshops at EIT, Napier. The project involved two stages and completion took place in July 2010.
