Formed in Napier in 1984, the Tech Group is ten different companies based in Hawke’s Bay, Manawatu and Poverty Bay.

HVAC, Sheetmetal, Engineering, Plumbing, Gasfitting and Electrical trades of the Tech Group came together to manufacture and install ducts, vents, exhausts, workbays throughout the new Trades Complex workshops at EIT, Napier. The project involved two stages and completion took place in July 2010.
